Neroes started as an idea developed by Pedro Pestana and Hugo Ferreira while working at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. Both Pedro and Hugo shared a passion for human performance and the desire to use scientific and technological knowledge in service of human empowerment.Neroes intends to unlock the brains potential through using neurotraining. The platform uses the clinically-validated neurofeedback technique for improved outcomes. The founders believe what sets apart elite athletes are their mental skills, more than technical or physical skills.
Currently, Neroes has two applications: Sports and Corporate.
On the Sports side, the team used the most state-of-the-art digital neurotechnologies, developing an interactive training that enhances the performance of elite athletes by working their mind skills. How does solution works? With an EEG headset and a computer software, the athlete will play a video game which can only be won by reaching desired states of mind. After conducting pilots with sport teams, the team found significant improvement on: +4% performance improvement, 21.7% Faster Decision Making, 9.4% Self - confidence boost.
On the Corporate version, a fun and innovative way to boost your brain was created. Through a spaceship game, the platform helps you maximizing your brain performance using a headset that reads brain waves. Using real life situations, the product presented the following results: +111% Emotional Control, +21,7% Decision making velocity, +9,4% Self-confidence, -14,2% Anxiety.
